Manila students in naked protest

The students paraded for about 15 minutes before police intervenedA group of students in the Philippines capital Manila have stripped off to protest against the country's underinvestment in education.
"The naked truth is that the government never treats education as a basic right," the students said.
The 15 protesters paraded at a busy intersection waving placards, before being moved on by police.
Protesters complained that the government was spending far more repaying its debts than on education.
The students said they would suffer from a shortage of nearly 50,000 classrooms and 3.5m desks and books in 2005.
